TaCt-Forsed: First milestone of our work open for discussion

The Center for Teacher Education is part of the EU Horizon collaborative project TaCT-FoRSED.

The objective of our work package is to collect, develop, test, and evaluate game-based open educational resources (OER) that teachers and educators can use to foster competencies related to democratic resilience and political self-efficacy.
To support teachers in effectively integrating these games into their lessons, we follow the concept of instructional modules: These are curriculum-aligned, subject-specific lesson designs. However, in TaCT-FoRSED, we do not refer to a specific national curriculum. Given the European scope of the project and our aim to reach teachers across Europe, we use the Reference Framework of Competences for Democratic Culture (RFCDC) as a guiding framework. The RFCDC offers a set of competence descriptors that support responsible participation in a liberal democracy.

As part of the project, we have developed a distributions scheme, which will be discussed and refined with stakeholders in 2025. The attached document is open for public comment. We welcome feedback, suggestions, and discussions.
